Becketwood founders told their architects: "We do not want a brick box!" The architects responded by creating a distinctive design which places our 211 housing units along angled hallways that evoke the spread branches of huge trees.

The artistic use of brick and wood offers a warm, inviting environment that complements our park-like setting on the bluffs of the Mississippi.

Create your ideal living space. Members have the freedom to remodel their units to create their own personal living space. The cooperative provides regular allowances toward flooring and paint and Members can opt to minimally refurbish or remodel extensively.
